I recently returned to what I consider a little slice of heaven to photograph a family session for this very sweet young trio. I had met Kayla and her darling baby boy a few weeks prior when I was at this same property photographing this little guy’s grandparents. The location couldn’t have been more beautiful! We had talked about me returning when her husband was in town, before they would all head back to their current home in Maryland. So I did come back. And in true St. Louis fashion–it was a hot and humid July night! They were such troopers in the heat, and little Marshal was absolutely perfect! To say we had more than a handful of beautiful pictures of this stunning family when our time was over would be an understatement!
This past week, Kayla and Austin had their ordering appointment via Skype. This was a first for me and I think we pulled it off! What was fun was I got to meet Kayla’s mom, Brenda, and her husband, as they came to my home office while Kayla Skyped in. I should’ve known with a daughter like Kayla that I’d enjoy Brenda and her husband just as much! We really had a great time while we sifted through pictures and decided on sizes. There were just so many that Brenda loved, we joked that Rich would need to build her another room so she could hang them all! I, too, always have a hard time picking out favorites for a blog post, but here are a few I thought would be fun to share…
